The World's Most Delicious Chocolate Chip Cookies, by Haley's Mom!
Ingredients 1 cup butter 1/2 cup sugar 3/4 cup packed brown sugar (I prefer dark, but light can be used) 2 eggs 1 tsp baking soda 1 tsp salt 2 1/4 cups flour 1-2 cups chocolate chips (can use flavored chocolate chips as well) Nuts (optional) 1 tsp vanilla (optional) Directions 1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees 2. Cream together butter, sugar, brown sugar, eggs (if using vanilla, add at this time) 3. Sift together in a separate bowl flour, baking soda and salt 4. Mix together wet and dry ingredients 5. Add chocolate chips (if using nuts, add at this time) 6. Using a cookie scoop or a tablespoon, drop cookie dough onto cookie sheet, either greased, with parchment paper or on a silpat 7. Bake at 375 degrees for about 15 minutes
